The West College of Education at Midwestern State University has developed a program that will qualify those who already have earned or are about to earn their bachelor’s degree to teach junior high and/or high school students.
Dr. Mitzi Lewis, Assistant Professor of Mass Communications, has been named Teacher of the Year for 2013 by the Small Programs Interest Group of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Students graduating with the highest grade point averages from each of the six academic colleges were honored at the Midwestern State University commencement ceremony held May 11.
